Audio-Visual talk. “Pronouncing Names and Locations written in Irish”

Elizabeth Kading and Jim Gillooly, of the Irish Coastal Club, Westerly, RI, Irish language teachers, will present a talk on the pronunciation of family and given names and location names that are written in Irish. This is often a a problem and a barrier for continuing to learn the language. The talk is being co-sponsored by the JP Holland AOH Division and the Irish Coastal Club.
